Archive for food

To each his own.

Okay. Time for an entry that is (as far as I can possibly help) not about baking. But I’m still going to talk about food. Because I’ve been craving things. :O

Durian. Not the sweet, deep yellow type that you introduce to first timers but the really light, pale, creamy yellow ones with that utterly strong, pungent, bitter taste that utterly engulfs your senses at first bite. Anyone who actually knows their durians (and won’t get cheated since I probably will) want to go eat durians?

CPK pizza. And Key Lime pie. California Pizza Kitchen’s Peking Duck pizza. Yes I know it sounds awfully queer but its done really well. And the key lime pie is one of the tangiest, nicest key lime pies I have ever tasted. Although I have a gut feeling I could create it very well myself in my own kitchen, I can’t find key limes. :D (Those big green ones you think are limes, no they’re lemons darling.) So if you ever do come across some key limes, do tell me, and you’ll get a slice of my pie. I’ve a trio of lemons in my fridge that I’ve bought to made lemon squares sometime this week. But I digress. Yes. I’ve been thinking of CPK pizza for a couple of weeks! If anyone else is willing to splurge $25 to $35 on good food do feel free to make a date with me. :D (583 Orchard Road #01-42 Forum The Shopping Mall, next to Coffee Bean)

Green Tea Fran Dessert Pocky. What I bought from Japan in bulk and tastes close to heaven. *hearts* If anyone’s going to Japan, please please please buy this for me okay? (And by the way, the best, creamiest, orgasmic green tea chocolate I’ve had, is from Royce. And it was available seasonly in Narita Airport.

Okay I’m sure I remembered several more last night but they’ve slipped my mind… Hmm. Anyway we had a family dinner last night to celebrate grandma’s 77th birthday. It was at Liang Court, Suanthai restaurant, ala carte buffet. I would say it was worth it, because the quality of the food was commendable and I was actually reaaally full from eating. For $19.90+++, you have a range of 28 dishes to choose from, those of course the most yummy ones such as the boneless chicken wing, thai-styled really fat yummy chicken satay, tom yum soup and some others could only be called once.

For $17.90+++ (budget menu), you get a choice of 23 dishes, but I recommend you paying the extra $2+++ anyway. The tom yum soup was pretty authentic, the boneless chicken wing and satay were good stuff too (and you can’t get these on the budget menu). The hearty and generous green mango salad and pomelo salad (that you can call more than once!) also whet your appetite very well, along with the hot and crispy thai spring rolls… However, the green curry was a bit too diluted for my taste and the fried fish dish was dory which I generally do not endorse. Some of the 28 were definitely a little more lackluster than others. But basically there’s an entire plethora of dishes for you to sample and exhaust. We didn’t manage to try everything, but it definitely was  a satisfying dining experience.

You also get to help yourself to a humble range of desserts which look fairly mild (fruits, sweetened tapioca, red ruby and chendol) but pack quite a flavorful punch. The sweetened tapioca was really moist, sweet and done perfectly in style. I’m not much of a chendol fan but the red ruby was good. I’m not a fan of coconut milk so I can’t speak for the quality of that though, since I barely used it.

The buffet is worth it, good for big gatherings and I think its probably Muslim-friendly too. :D

Anyway, during dinner I also found out that my cousin had broken up with his GF of at least, 5 years. (Could be 7, they’ve been together since JC).

I remember writing in an earlier post…

…John and Heidi were from TJC. Pretty much high flyers, the both of them. And they’re REALLY SWEET. They’re the most suitable, most adorable, cutest couple I have ever met. Sometimes they cycle (they meaning John cycles while she rides sitting on the back) to Dhoby Ghaut to catch a midnight show and cycle back to his place, where I think she’s putting up these days since she’s just started working at MAS. Ahh. They just look so good together. (:

Ben’s the only married one so far, but it was still amusing. When my aunt (his mom) arrived, she was still all “You sick ah, boy? What did you have for lunch? Porridge? You hungry or not, want to order something? Come, drink water first.”

He looked so embarassed and I think his wife pretty much tried not to watch. Its pretty different, Ben and John. John does everything for Heidi, peel loads of prawns for her, makes sure he gets food on her plate before his own, etc. Okay la its just sweet. And she’s the kind of girl you wouldn’t mind doing such stuff for. She’s really sweet and bubbly and fun to be around with.

Its quite startling to think of them not being together anymore, because its been so long and they’re the type of couple you would’ve expected to see walk down the aisle together… Most of the family was quite tactful about it except for one particular aunt who kept rubbing it in and grilling him much to everyone one else’s discomfort.

Jason and I have ourselves been having many a serious discussions about where we’re heading with our own relationship. I know many of you would think its crazy that two people who are perfectly in love with each other would be wanting to discuss the taboo ‘break-up’ word in times of peace and happiness. But we know this isn’t a fairy tale and God has our best interests at heart. If we do have to break up, then God is the strength that will see us through the seasons that follow. It is because we are perfectly serious about each other which is why we can bring such a topic to the table. Because I don’t believing in playing with emotions.

You only have one heart, and so many times you can afford to give it away. You want to be able to give the person you eventually marry your heart. Not what is left of your heart after you’re done with the folly of your youth. So please, don’t get into a relationship for the sake of it, just because you’re lonely, or you want instant gratification or ‘love’. The heart is a precious thing. The more jaded you get now, the harder it is for you to love later.

It is easier to ignore or avoid confrontation than to face it head on in a relationship. But if the relationship means enough to you, you will do it.

I leave you with that.

Got some design jobs to complete now though baking constantly diffuses into my mind and distracts me from my responsibilities….

[edit] 2 hours later and I’m still looking at recipes online. And I don’t even get to call this an occupational hazard.

Aieee.. There’s so much I want to blog about. Would’ve done it yesterday except that Sis was leeching all the bandwidth and I could barely access the Internet.

Had an Arrow publicity meeting today and Sam enticed me with what shall now be on my faithlist – the 15.4inch MacBook Pro. *droooooooooooooooooooooool…………*

The faith laptop.

There was so much g33k talk going on just now that only designers would appreciate (or understand). Fun. But yes. Jesus, I’m believing you for this. My Compaq 14.1 inch Presario V3000 (with complements from Starhub) isn’t bad, but specs wise.. The MacBook Pro will be much much much much MUCH friendlier to me when I run Dreamweaver/Photoshop/Illustrator/misc Adobe program simultaneously.

Also, the graphics card is cannot compete one lor.

Since I obviously don’t have $3,318 (w/o GST!!!) to my name, I can only STAND on God’s word and BELIEVE in faith that this strong desire bordering on necessity (for the love of designing) will be MET because JESUS is my PROVISION. AMEN.

Thank you Jesus!

=)

In other news, here’s the scoop on yesterday’s baking…

Tried the well-heralded, Lovescool’s Green Tea Sweets which have been featured on at least five recipe blogs I frequent. The recipe has been said to taste fantastisch so of course I must, MUST try it. It TEMPTED me (a massive consumer of all green tea products) for long enough! Except for the bit where I actually had to procure green tea powder from somewhere. But apparently, quite a number of baking shops in Singapore do sell it (like Phoon Huat, as overpriced as some of the stuff there is…).

So I trooped down to Phoon Huat in Bedok to pick up that tiny 20g bottle of Bakable Green Tea Powder for $2.45. (!!!!)

Results:

Lovescool\'s famous Green Tea Sweets!

Green Tea Sweets

VERY SUCCSSFUL. :D Bought a cute multi hearts cookie cutter (its this device that has 4 hearts attached so you can just chop out 4 biscuits at one go… very fun, like play-dough.) to create the above shortbread yummies (yes they’re actually shortbread). And they tasted as delicious as all the enthusiastic blog reviews (and here I am adding yet another to the collection). It is a really really yummy recipe. I’ll definitely do it again. :)

I also tried this recipe for Chocolate Mint Bars….

Less than successful Chocolate Mint bar.

Less than successful Chocolate Mint bar.

Which didn’t really turn out as well……. :( The cake tasted quite bleh and though I like the mint icing (didn’t add the green colouring cause that doesn’t do much for me), it kinda reminded me of toothpaste too. Ended up throwing quite a lot of it away. It actually has an additional chocolate layer above the mint which I fortunately didn’t have time to complete because Jessica and I were heading to the JC graduation partaay. I think mint recipes may not work very well unless I manage to procure some better grade peppermint extract in Singapore that doesn’t taste this much like toothpaste! As Jeremy said during Pubs meeting today, if I combined my last Quintuple Chocolate Brownie (which was amazingly sweet and chocolatey) with this mint topping, it would be quite power. Unfortunately the recipe for this particular base didn’t turn out too well… or it may have just been me trying to handle both cutting, cooling and baking the green tea cookies while simultaneously trying to mix the cake batter for this 2nd recipe…

There’s a good banana bread recipe I’m intending to try – probably after I’m back from FOC since I’ll be gone this whole week. And also bake more green tea sweets since there’s still green tea powder and I’m not that willing to try the other strange green tea recipes I’ve been seeing floating around…

On another food note – Rene, Von and I dined at Coffee Club on Thursday (cause Rene had to do a restaurant review for her HTM assignment) and the Coffee Club Burger actually tastes pretty good.

Coffee Club Burger

Coffee Club Burger

The beef patty is acceptably juicy, and the wedges are generally decent. (The only reason I actually bothered with pictures this time was because Rene needs them for her assignment. So since I have ‘em, might as well use ‘em!) Surprising. Considering the fact that almost every time we go to Coffee Club I have so much difficulty trying to find something I actually want to eat. The Garlic Prawn Pasta, that some people I know seem to love, is honestly palatable – but a tad too oily for my taste. I generally only associate Coffee Club with its generously sized mudpie… which we were too full to have.

Rene had the Piri Piri Chicken…

Piri Piri Chicken

Piri Piri Chicken

Which was supposedly covered with some sort of ’special’ Bolognese/Neapolitan/whatever that tasted most ordinaire. It was also almost camouflaged by a sea of rocket lettuce that Rene really doesn’t appreciate but I thankfully do.

We also tried the Wasabi Prawn Salad…

Wasabi Prawn Salad

Which was quite nice except for the strange-block-of-brown-seedy-thing-that-I-cannot-put-a-name-to that also co-existed with the otherwise decent salad. Rene says she’s never liked it (the brown thing) – even at Malay stalls (yes I presume it actually has a Malay name except that I don’t know what it is. Can someone enlighten me? Its brown, its rectangular cuboids, soft, and strange tasting. =X). It doesn’t really go with the rest of the dish. Fusion perhaps. :S

Okay, I’m going to continue with the rest of what I want to say in another entry – because this one is long enough and what I’m about to say is far too important to just be placed as an afterthought after food.

Donut review.

Posted in Uncategorized with tags on September 8, 2007 by lizzaeh

GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE! THE EARTH SAYS HELLO!!!

Right, another morning at Millenia. Its Saturday already. Joy joy joy!
Lol.

Oh yes, forgot to mention that I finally tried the famed Munchy Donuts that 8Days actually gave a higher rating than Donut Factory. (Not that I’ve tried Donut Factory. If anyone is willing to queue for it for me, I’ll gladly accept it. :P )

But Munchy opened in Millenia just this past Monday. And after walking past it every day with every resolution to try it, I finally did.

And well. For a 4 star (or was it 4.5?) 8Days rating, it was mighty disappointing.

Bought 6.
The only one that I really liked was the Green Tea Choc with Red Bean Cream filling. (I’m not being biased here just because its green tea okay).
The choc + cream filling: Okay, sweet, fairly acceptable.
Dark choc: FAIL. COMPLETELY FAIL. WHAT DARK CHOC?! Don’t buy this, your regular neighbourhood donut will taste better.
Choc + peanut butter filling: Only discovered the peanut butter after nearly demolishing most of the donut, okay, nothing fantastic.
White choc and cinnamon: Okay. Nothing fantastic either.
Cookies and cream: Okay, nothing spectacular either.
Jason bought some garlic cheese one which was basically just bread with cheese. O_o I don’t think you can consider this a donut.

No oomph from anything except the Green Tea and maybe the Choc + Cream.

Well I haven’t tried the choc + banana, which is one of the favourites I hear.
The thing about donuts, see, is the texture… and I think the texture of Munchy’s was quite disappointing. Green Tea might have been really nice because I bought it early and had it almost immediately, while I only savoured the rest after I got home.

But I’ve tried Sweet Ring donuts (its from some neighbourhood, I don’t know where my Sis gets them, they’re just your regular sugared donuts but the texture is so so so so nice even after you leave it overnight) and personally POP DOUGH is still the nicest to me.

Pop Dough is in Takashimaya, near the Haagen Daaz and Venezia ice-cream outlets. (:
If you like Krispy Kremes, Pop Dough is the closest you’re ever going to get to those glazed donuts in Singapore.
And they still taste good the next morning. ;)

Summer House, (which I talked about last time) which is somewhere in the ulu-ated Burlington Square but has an outlet at AMK Hub, also seemed – to my recollection that is, to have tasted beter than Munchy’s too. :S

But I’ll still buy the Green Tea one, and I’ll try the rest of the flavours before I sign it off as being overrated (though I can’t help but think it is, already. The appalling excuse for dark choc lingers in my memory).

Alrighty.

Back to work.:D

(And oh on another note, I want to go back to AMK Hub to try to youghurt thing. Similar concept as the stuff Sis and I tried in Aussie. Has anyone tried it?)

Excitement.

Hee hee my besties love me. :)

WY gave me a really big, fat green highlighter. (Because I always seem to finish using not only mine, but hers, at a famished, vampiric rate.)

Rene made dubious looking cupcakes for me and WY to sample when we went to Aston’s on Thursday (still think its kinda overrated but well its not bad for the price you’re paying, other places have ripped you off for less). They (the cupcakes) were actually.uh.not bad.

Vonniekins got me apple strudel!! (: (: Von always gets me strudel to tell me she loves me. Haha. (:

And she would like to remind me that its three weeks, not two, to the Prelims.

Lovelovelove..
Thank you Jesus for such wonderful friends even though we’re all so busy now and hardly see each other these days.

Rene apparently popped up outsie my house yesterday with Krin and H.Simin but I was taking an afternoon nap and too tired to entertain their little amusements. They were going to Ice Cream Chef, which I introduced (and treated) WY and Rene to after Aston’s on Thursday.

Jason claims Island Creamery is still nicer.
Yeah the Nutella and Horlicks flavours at Island Creamery is probably better.
But nothing beats having crazy mix-ins like chocolate/durian with granola (its nicer than it sounds, trust me. Try it if you’re in the neighbourhood.) or chocolate with malteses/marshmellows (madly sweet) or oreo&cream with kinder bueno… etc etc etc.
The permutations are endless. And heavenly. (:

Anyway, ton-ed at the airport last night with Jason after CG.
CG was exciting!!! (:
My house was filled with soooo many people. Over 20 people turned up and it was the biggest CG session I’ve ever seen. The last time it was this packed was the combined East B/West B Christmas party and that was two caregroups.

It was AGNES’ birthday. And we planned a (rather) elaborate surprise. Hahaha. Some of the other JC leaders turned up to surprise her as well, and it was almost difficult to keep her here long enough to give them time to arrive. Hehe. Fun fun fun. (: (:

It was almost ruined by the fact that Agnes was the first to arrive at my place around 7.10PM, leading to a minor panic over how the cake was going to arrive unseen. Fortunately Xin En and Aruna were coming on their own – and they’re new, so I managed to drag Agnes out to the bus-stop to meet them (a diversion! ~Legolas) while Ziyu and Jaslyn sneaked in from the other direction with the cake.

Was quite amusing really but it worked! I’ll bet Agnes was really baffled over the fact that none of us wished her happy birthday and annoyed that even Kitz was late (worship can’t commence without the guitarist.. hehe) and that the J3s whom she had commanded to move up to their respective Uni caregroups had unanimously reappeared again.

Lol. Yes. ‘Twas fun.. Agnes is an awesome, really anointed, favoured CGL full of grace and wisdom. Totally love her even though sometimes her ‘funny’ jokes and bimbo-esque moments really make me bewildered. HAHA.

Okay yes..
As I was saying, Jason and I ton-ed at the Airport yesterday (or was it this morning).
Lasted till 4.30AM. Didn’t help that I only slept past 3.00AM the previous night and only had a short nap before CG on Friday. Well I valiantly tried to read about the Arab-Israel conflict till about 5.30AM, trying to do Probably and Binomial Distribution in between (but alas, I couldn’t remember a THING about how to do Probably or Binomial. I can’t even remmeber how to type it into the calculator LOL, so it was pretty much a lost cause) and gave up and slept till about 6.30AM.

I think Jason survived most of it. Though I did remember waking up at some point and seeing him resting his head on the table. Lol.

Well well. It wasn’t too bad, really. Though as most of the TK gang would know I’m not much of an overnight-er. WY and Von are. Well. Von is. I know WY spews rubbish when she wakes up. HAHA.

Mom picked us up in the morning and we went to Changi Village for breakfast before she sent him home.

Ladidum. And I’ve pretty much wasted most of my Saturday away sleeping/trying unsuccessfully to complete my H3.

Oh well.

Jesus loves me this I know.
Have a good opinion of God.
Because He WANTS to bless you.
Whats there to worry?
Will He not look after you?
Are you more capable than Him at solving your problems?

PS.
And I know I hardly do this, but it was on Nigel’s blog and it is really awesome.
So I just had to. :O

[edit, 10.05PM]
OKAYYYY.
I just returned from dinner at Samba with Mom.
For the uninformed, its at Katong Village – where Waraku is, opposite Stonegrill and Aston’s. ;)

Tonight was one of the rare days I REALLY FELT TOTALLY PWNED BY MY FOOD.
I know most of you are aware that I can actually eat when there’s good food around (harhar.. even my palates are elitist). But tonight I really could.not.stomach all the meat.

Though honestly, I highly, highly recommend it. Especially for the MALES. Its $32 or was it $36? +++ for weekends.

And trust me – its really worth it. Works buffet style – there’s a whole load of sides (vegs) and staple to choose from, and you sit down at your table and the dudes come around with the meat on those huge kebab-esque sticks and just serve you sides of meat after meat after meat………..

SO MANY DIFFERENT CUTS OF the poor cow came to our plates. And it was so scary to see the marbling on the juciest, most tender one.. gosh..

And of course there’s lamb, chicken, fish, prawns and pork too but mostly beef and more beef and more beef.. I think the males would really love it. Us girls, I don’t know. Personally I couldnt stomach all that.

For the price you’re paying though, you’re getting a REALLY GOOD DEAL. Especially if you’re a carnivore. It is bagus.

Lizzy however. Was quite, quite pwned.. and sat there rejecting most of eager attempts to slice more meat onto her place while she stared in amazement at Mom who walloped quite a SUBSTANTIAL amount of MEAT.

She said she didn’t use to know how – but after she married my Dad she gradually learnt how to eat so much. (LOL)
She also said Jason must be deprived having to eat with someone like me. *LOL*

That boy seems to have started skipping meals. TSK TSK.
I’m a girl. You’re a guy. Guys and skipping meals are MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE EVENTS!
But yes its clear that he DOES have a normal, exorbitant MALE appitite – aka he CAN eat. He’ll probably like the food there but I don’t know how much of it I can really bare. LOL.

And for dessert they had these banana and pineapple slices that were roasted just like the meats and Mom really really loved them. But uh, yes I AM quite a fussy eater aren’t I? :S

I don’t eat pineapples – and the girls were discussing the other day that one banana is equivalent to a BOWL OF RICE.
And you know what happens to these carb rich foods when they get roasted right? They get caramelized. *Shuddddders*

Okay.
Yes. *cough*

And they give you these little cheese bread dollops that is just pretending to be bread. It is CHEESE.CHEESE.CHEESE.RICH.GLORIOUS.CHEESE thinly disguised by a layer of FLOUR. I do not know how something that small managed to be so rich. :O

Okay shall stop rambling now.
Moral of the story: If you love meat – go there. Yeah.

Randomness.

Hmmm. Been trying to get Soefie’s inhumanly maniacal National Day display of patriotism video onto YouTube but its not working.

Anyway for those who want to view what the House Captains horridly, brutally and shamefully massacred, its Hossan Leong’s ‘History of Singapore’ video.

Oh yes Jason and I went to Aston’s yesterday – finally. After all that hype I’ve heard about the place and the extensively long queues that eternally grace its store front. Well. It was decent $10.50 steak I suppose. But I have rather spoilt palates, so I’ll probably go back and try the more expensive stuff and maybe the other meats before coming to a conclusion.

And now I’m going to do my H3. Ladidum.
Had my consultation with Mr R yesterday in Starbucks. 2.5 hours of talking. Hoho. I don’t know who was more drained after that – probably him since he has to think more because he isn’t as familiar with what I’m trying to say as I am.

Cause the girl that you want
She was tearing us apart
Cause she’s everything
Everything I’m not

The Veronicas – Everything I’m Not

Augh!

HELLOOOOO LIFE!

ANYWAY, before I relate a Matter of Great Embarassment, let me rave about this new ice-cream place (Ice Cream Chefs) that opened reaaaally near my home not so very long ago.

Now you must understand that I am immediately sceptical about most food-related joints (mostly failed mini-marts) that have tried to successfully plant themselves in that row of shophouses that belong to the Ocean Park Apartments family, and considering the fact that this new ice-cream palour has taken the place of the long-standing hairdresser (which I used to frequent in my early Secondary School days), I couldn’t help but find myself, er… wondering, how long it would survive.

BUT!
Went there last night with Sis, on a whim, because I was feeling cranky and complaining to Ken online. Who said, “You need ice-cream. And possibly sleep.” But of course! It’s so near my place anyway. Floated the idea to Sis who contemplated it for a grand total of 2 seconds, and we were gone.

SO!
The ice-cream.
Sis had Mrs Smith (green apple) with granola. Chunky, generous servings of granola and raisins all heftily mixed into the ice-cream. (Yea they do that for you, its really cool, mixing in those fillings and they’ve alot to choose from, whole mini Mars bars, Kit-Kat, Oreos, the lot.)
IS NICE IS NICE!

ANDDDD. I had Nutella. Wanted Horlicks but really, (not that there probably would’ve been a difference…) too much sugar, Sis insisted. Too bad, I got high on Nutella anyway.

I’ve already tried the one at Island Creamery, and the one at Chefs’ is comparable, perhaps nicer, in fact. I don’t quite recall how it tastes like, per se. But I know I enjoyed the one I had yesterday. Hee. I likes I likes. Is sweet. Is nice. Is makes me high. (:

So in general – very happy, high, satisfied customer. (:
A regular cup is $3.10, $.70 more for toppings I believe (which they mix in with great vigour and generosity). They’ve green tea (which I must try), and I sampled the durian which is fantassimo but Sis hates durian so I’ll have it another day. Actually, I want to try a lot of it. LOL!!! Like peanut butter, which they didn’t have yesterday. Peace. Watermelon. HORLICKS. :D

MUST TRY!
I’m sure they’ll last good and long in this neighbourhood. We need places like this. (Lol!)

Shall drag the rest of 33/06 there someday, maybe after our exams.. Hmm. Yeah.

Happy to have something this good, this close to home. HEH.
Actually, my area is generically blessed with a lot of good food.

Katong has laksa, ban mian, Hot Stones, Waraku, Astons, etc etc etc.
East Coast has the good Hong Kong Cafe (don’t mix it up with the Siglap one), ba chor mee, Magaritas (really rocks).
… Siglap. Cheesecake Cafe, (what I deem to be the BEST, in terms of both food and service) Thai Express, Werners, my favourite Starbucks of all time with the nicest, bestest, friendliest, loveliest staff…

Yeah. So blessed man.

Okay yes, so getting back to Siglap.
Popped into Werners yesterday to get bread. And to my horrification (nice word), some Ch8 foodie show was filming there. Now truly, Werners has great bread and everything, that I admit, but having to answer any question on Werners, in CHINESE, is not merely technically, but literally, and grammatically, and virtually, impossible for me.

Trying to be inconspicuous failed, and unfortunately, they did ask me some questions.
In front of the camera.
IN CHINESE.

(Anyway, great, great apologies, because… I was wearing my red ACJC tee-shirt. *deadly silence*)

(BUT, BUTTTT. I covered it with my file.)

(For dear life.)

Wasn’t about to embarrass and throw the face a school I didn’t belong to.

If it was TJ I wouldn’t mind though. I mean, who would believe a TJCian can’t speak Chinese, right? Right?

Still, I’ve never been so embarassed to be a non-Chinese speaking Chinese. EVER.
:( :( :(

And so they did the interview in English, all my answers were deemed unsatisfactory. So they gave me a line they wanted said, and I won’t say it. Because its a really, utterly, bimbotic statement. Ask me yourself if you want it, I shall incriminate no one on this blog. =X

Hopefully they found a suitable person to say it all in CHINESE so they won’t have to use the footage of me gazing in bewilderment at the camera uttering those lines.

Or else I’ll be having Chinese subtitles, as though it can’t get embarrassing enough. I apologize in advance to all my Chinese teachers, tuition teachers, and anyone who has ever tried to help me with my (presumed) Mother Tongue. =X

And that was about all the excitement that I had yesterday. Whee.
.
Today was SATURATED HISTORY DAY!
(After Lit paper, that is.)

Ex.HAUST.ed now.

Wanted to come home and watch P&P, but too tired lah.
