		<description>I&#039;m sorry you had a hard time with the cookies. Was the batter very fluffy after you made it?  I wonder if the fact that i&#039;m using a silpat (silicone) mat somehow makes them immune to getting burnt on the bottom. Perhaps if you put the cookiesheet on top of another cookiesheet (just to add another layer of protection from the bottom, it would help to insulate it beter?  Also, whenever I make merangue, I always leave the eggs out on the counter for about an hour to get to room tempurature.   I&#039;m glad you liked them as they aged a bit. It&#039;s funny how that happens.   Thanks for trying them and visiting my blog!</description>
